Who we are. what we believe.

We are Simon Farrell and Emma Stoddart; Co-Founders of Propella.

Over the past 20 years, we've created and run all sorts of micro-businesses - marketing, branding, interior design, coaching, even a nightclub business! We absolutely love dreaming up new business ideas. Not just for the money (though that's nice too), but for the creative buzz and challenges they bring.

We've both done our time in big corporations, so we get the frustrations that come with working in those environments. We left because we fell in love with the freedom that running your own micro-business gives you.

Now we're in our 50s and starting to think about what retirement looks like for us. Honestly? We're excited! We're looking forward to the next 15 years - building our current businesses and maybe creating a few more new ones.

We might work a bit less in the future, but we definitely don't want to stop completely. It really is a joy. That's what micro-businesses can deliver; a meaningful source of income that doesn't feel like work at all.

But we can't help noticing that some of our friends see the next 15 years very differently. They're looking at more of the same: uninspiring jobs, counting down the years until there's enough in the pension pot.

We believe there's another way.

That's why we created Propella - to share the joy of creating and growing micro-businesses with others. To help people discover the freedom that comes with it, both financially and emotionally.

We know many people worry they're too old to start a business, or that they're just not entrepreneurial enough. But honestly, we believe those are just limiting beliefs holding people back. Anyone can start their own micro-business.

To help people move past these barriers, we've woven mindset development and personal growth tools into the heart of our micro-business creation process.

Because we want people to find themselves as well as their perfect business.
